Jonathan Tel is the author of the story collection Arafat's Elephant. He was educated in the United States and Britain, and studied cosmology with Stephen Hawking. He has worked as an elementary particle physicist and has lived and traveled in many countries. Currently he divides his time between New York, London, and Jerusalem, and is at work on a novel.
