Thisbe Nissen grew up in Manhattan. She's a graduate of The University of Iowa Writer's Workshop, where she was a James Michener Fellow. Thisbe's the author of a collection of short stories, Out of the Girl's Room and into the Night, and a novel, The Good People of New York.
